Important: Clara AI subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, but will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis as outlined below.

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines our policies regarding refunds, billing, and cancelling your Clara AI subscription or services. We are committed to providing transparent and fair policies while maintaining the sustainability of our business.

Subscription Plans

Clara AI offers the following subscription plans:

  • Monthly Plan: Billed every month on the date of initial subscription
  • Annual Plan: Billed once per year on the date of initial subscription
  • Custom Enterprise Plans: Billed according to specific terms outlined in the enterprise agreement

Billing Terms

  • All subscriptions are billed in advance
  • Billing cycles begin on the date of subscription activation
  • Automatic renewal is enabled by default
  • Payment is processed using secure, industry-standard methods
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension

Refund Policy

General Refund Terms

Due to the digital nature of our AI-powered services, all sales are generally final. However, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise, and we evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • Billing Errors: Incorrect charges, duplicate payments, or unauthorized transactions
  • Critical Platform Failure: A complete inability to access the dashboard for more than 7 consecutive days, as verified by Clara AI's internal system logs. Intermittent API delays or third-party (Instagram) downtime do NOT qualify.
  • Service Not Delivered: If we are unable to provide the promised service due to technical limitations
  • Fraudulent Activity: Charges resulting from unauthorized account access

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after using the service
  • Failure to use the service during the subscription period
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content quality (subjective preferences)
  • Technical issues resolved within 48 hours
  • Violation of our Terms of Service resulting in account suspension
  • Requests made more than 60 days after the billing date

Automated Dispute & Refund Resolution

Refund eligibility is determined automatically by our system based on the strict criteria above.

To request a refund, submit a ticket via the Help Center.

No Response Policy: If your request does not meet the strict criteria for a refund (e.g., requests based on dissatisfaction or user error), you may not receive a personalized response.

If you do not receive an approval notification within 7 business days, your request is deemed denied based on our policy. Silence constitutes a formal denial.

Partial Refunds

In certain cases, we may offer partial refunds calculated on a pro-rated basis for the unused portion of your subscription period. This is at our sole discretion and depends on the specific circumstances of your request.

Cancellation Process

Self-Service Cancellation

  1. Log in to your Clara AI account
  2. Click on your profile avatar and select your subscription in the right sidebar
  3. Click "Cancel Subscription" at the bottom of the subscription window
  4. Confirm your cancellation
  5. Receive email confirmation

Effects of Cancellation

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • No new charges will be processed after cancellation
  • You retain access to premium features until expiration
  • Generated content remains accessible for 30 days post-cancellation
  • Account may be downgraded to free tier (if available)

Billing Disputes

If you notice any billing discrepancies or unauthorized charges:

  • Report the issue immediately via our Contact Form
  • Provide transaction details and account information
  • We will investigate and respond as soon as possible, though delays may occur due to high request volumes
  • Disputed charges may be temporarily credited during investigation

Auto-Renewal

All Clara AI subscriptions are set to automatically renew by default to ensure uninterrupted service. To prevent automatic renewal:

  • Cancel your subscription before your next billing date
  • Turn off auto-renewal in account settings (where available)
  • Contact support for assistance

Price Changes

  • We reserve the right to modify subscription prices
  • Existing subscribers receive 30 days advance notice
  • Price changes apply to subsequent billing cycles only
  • You may cancel before price changes take effect

Commercial Transaction Acknowledgement

As stated in our Terms of Service, this Service is strictly for Business Users. By subscribing, you acknowledge that this is a commercial B2B transaction and that Consumer Protection laws (such as cooling-off periods) do not apply. You expressly waive any 'consumer' status.

Policy Updates

We reserve the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
